Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher credentials for the state of South Carolina
• Experience working with IEPs and developing individualized education plans
• Ability to manage K-12 caseloads in both self-contained and resource classrooms
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to student growth
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with students, families, and other educators

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and implementing individualized lesson plans based on students’ educational needs
• Maintaining and updating accurate student records, including IEPs and progress reports
• Working closely with general education teachers and support staff to best serve students
• Providing direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with diverse learning needs
• Utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and resources to engage students
• Actively participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the creation of appropriate educational goals
