Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching licensure appropriate for elementary grades
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- At least 2 years of experience working in Special Education is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with staff and parents
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Track and document student progress, reporting outcomes as required
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers and related services staff to ensure each child’s needs are met
- Support positive classroom management and foster an encouraging learning environment
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
