Qualifications & Skills:

• Current LBS1 certification for grades 9-12 required
• Proven experience teaching or supporting high school students, preferably in special education settings
• Strong grasp of individualized education plans (IEPs) and diverse learning strategies
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
• Commitment to inclusive practices and student-centered instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective lesson plans aligned with student IEPs
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet a variety of learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Track student progress, maintaining thorough documentation and timely reporting
• Create a positive, structured environment that fosters student growth academically, socially, and emotionally
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to help guide student success
