In this role, you will:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, adhering to each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Develop, write, and implement effective IEPs tailored to student strengths and areas for growth
- Work closely with other staff, including related services personnel, to ensure a holistic approach to student learning
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and progress
- Communicate regularly with families and educational partners regarding student progress and goals
To be considered, candidates should have:
- A valid Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement (required)
- At least two years of recent teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience developing and executing IEPs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
