What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field
• Experience with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations for special education

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess students’ needs, progress, and goals, documenting and communicating observations
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to ensure accessibility and engagement for students with diverse needs
• Monitor and report on student progress, recommending adjustments as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and advocating for student success
