Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 is required)
- Proven experience or background in special education, particularly working with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Ability to manage a specialized caseload in a center-based setting

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-5 students with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and social growth
- Work in tandem with instructional teams to integrate STEM concepts through Project Lead the Way Launch activities
- Support positive student behavior management and social-emotional learning
- Engage with families and support staff to ensure continuity of care and educational goals
This contract position runs from early September 2026 through early June 2027, Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours each week at an innovative elementary school with a specialty focus.
