Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification; Tier 3 or Tier 4 required (must be attached to application)
  • Experience working with elementary students in a resource or similar special education setting
  • Strong ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learner needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
  • Commitment to professional ethics and student confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students on a designated elementary resource caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure academic success
  • Work closely with general education teachers to support inclusive practices within the school
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
  • Effectively communicate progress and strategies with parents and guardians

This full-time position runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, with a regular schedule Monday through Friday totaling 37.5 hours per week. The contract offers the opportunity to work in a well-respected district with supportive leadership and engaged colleagues.
