Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License is required; only Tier 3 or Tier 4 accepted.
- Proven experience working in special education, preferably at the elementary level.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and interventions for students requiring specialized support.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an ABS caseload at the elementary level, ensuring each student receives safe and effective instruction.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to foster growth and independence for all learners.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
