This full-time contract position calls for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with an ABS caseload. The assignment runs from late August through mid-June, offering weekdays only and regular daytime hours that support excellent work-life balance.

Your role will focus on providing specialized instruction and support to elementary students with a variety of needs, collaborating with a committed team of educators. This position is located near Osseo, MN, in a vibrant, supportive educational environment where your professional expertise will be valued and your input welcomed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License is required; only Tier 3 or Tier 4 accepted.
  • Proven experience working in special education, preferably at the elementary level.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and interventions for students requiring specialized support.
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an ABS caseload at the elementary level, ensuring each student receives safe and effective instruction.
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to foster growth and independence for all learners.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
