Special Education Teacher in Osseo, MN

As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with a Setting 4 caseload, supporting learners with severe disabilities and significant behavioral challenges. It's a rewarding setting where patience, innovative problem-solving, and collaboration are highly valued and make a true difference each day.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license—only Tier 3 or Tier 4 will be considered.
• Experience or strong interest in working with Setting 4 students preferred.
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to support varying levels of academic and behavioral needs.
• Exceptional communication and de-escalation skills.
• Demonstrated team collaboration in multi-disciplinary environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to high-need students.
• Foster a supportive and structured classroom climate focused on safety and student growth.
• Work closely with behavior specialists, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Track progress, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings and staff conferences.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning to support best practices for students with complex needs.
