Special Education Teacher - Osseo, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a center-based special education setting. This position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 3, 2027, offering a stable, long-term assignment with a consistent weekly schedule of 40 hours. In this role, you’ll provide specialized instruction to a caseload of approximately 11 students (subject to change with enrollment shifts), making an impact on learners who benefit from individualized support and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or 2 accepted; preference for Tier 3 or 4)
• Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) required
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged children
• Proven commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families
• Must be available for in-person instruction; remote teaching is not an option

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Maintain strong relationships with caregivers and advocate for student supports
• Adapt lesson plans and interventions proactively in response to each child’s needs
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and contribute to a supportive school environment
