Special Education Teacher - Osseo, MN

We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable Special Education Teacher for a contract role spanning from January 4th, 2027 to March 29th, 2027. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proven experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with various learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and instructional strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff and families
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress towards IEP goals
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom setting that encourages growth and independence
• Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and staff development as required
• Provide academic and behavioral support while promoting social-emotional growth
