Soliant is seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join their team in a low-incidence, center-based elementary program. This role focuses on supporting students with significant disabilities through individualized instruction, adaptive curriculum, and collaborative team-based supports. The teacher will lead a structured and nurturing classroom environment, working closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure each student reaches their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique learning needs.

Provide direct instruction in academics, communication, functional, and social skills.

Collaborate with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to integrate related services.

Utilize data-driven instruction and progress monitoring to track student growth.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.

Supervise and train paraprofessionals to support instructional delivery and daily routines.
Qualifications:

Active Kansas Low-Incidence Special Education License (required)

Previous experience in a low-incidence or center-based program strongly preferred

Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior support strategies
