Kansas Special Education Teacher Needed for 2nd Semester

Soliant is seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join their team in a low-incidence, center-based elementary program. This role focuses on supporting students with significant disabilities through individualized instruction, adaptive curriculum, and collaborative team-based supports. The teacher will lead a structured and nurturing classroom environment, working closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure each student reaches their fullest potential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique learning needs.

• Provide direct instruction in academics, communication, functional, and social skills.

• Collaborate with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to integrate related services.

• Utilize data-driven instruction and progress monitoring to track student growth.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.

• Supervise and train paraprofessionals to support instructional delivery and daily routines.

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas Low-Incidence Special Education License (required)

• Previous experience in a low-incidence or center-based program strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior support strategies

• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
