Special Education Teacher Needed in Overland Park, KS

Soliant is seeking a compassionate and committed Special Education Teacher to serve students in a low-incidence elementary program. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with diverse and significant learning needs in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and implement IEP goals for each student.

• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet the unique learning profiles of students.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including therapists, paraprofessionals, and families—to support holistic student growth.

• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings.

• Create a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters both academic and functional independence.

Qualifications:

• Required: Active Kansas Low-Incidence Special Education License

• Experience teaching in a low-incidence or center-based program preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

• Dedication to supporting students with significant disabilities in achieving meaningful outcomes
