Work closely with a caseload of eight students, providing personalized instruction and support in a setting designed to celebrate unique learning needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Kansas (KS) Low Incidence Special Education License is required
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students with varying abilities
  • Strong understanding of special education law, IEP development, and the LIFT Program’s core principles
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to individual learner needs
  • Passion for supporting student development in both academic and life skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
  • Deliver differentiated instruction and facilitate skill-building activities in a small-group classroom environment
  • Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families to ensure continuity of care and learning
  • Maintain accurate student records and progress reports for both academic and behavioral goals
  • Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere
  • Support students in developing self-advocacy and independence
