Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care and health support for a medically fragile student
• Monitor and address the student's medical needs throughout the school day
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and authorized
• Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families to support student success
• Respond appropriately to medical concerns and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with school, district, state, and federal health regulations
• Support a safe and inclusive learning environment for the student

Requirements

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile populations preferred
• School-based nursing experience is a plus but not required
