Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Valid teaching licensure with special education certification
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and differentiated instruction
- Ability to manage and adapt to multiple caseloads
- Strong commitment to student advocacy and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Case manage approximately 10 elementary school students (K-4th grade) in an inclusion setting
- Collaborate to split two middle school caseloads of ~29 students each (7th and 8th grade), combining inclusion work and small group pull-out instruction as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Partner with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success in mainstream classrooms
- Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
