Qualifications and Experience:
- Current New York State Teaching License with high school endorsement
- Specialized certifications required for working in an ED (Emotional Disturbance) classroom setting
- Previous experience teaching or assisting in a special education classroom strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt lesson plans according to IEP requirements and a variety of learning styles
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
