Special Education Teacher in Palmer, MA

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (for early elementary grades)
• Experience working with K-4 students, especially those in therapeutic or substantially separate settings
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with related service providers, families, and support staff
• Compassion, creativity, and adaptability in addressing diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction for students with a range of learning abilities and therapeutic needs
• Foster a supportive, safe, and structured classroom environment
• Develop, monitor, and document progress on IEP goals
