Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state-specific licensure preferred or willing to obtain)
  • Experience working with elementary students, especially in a therapeutic or substantially separate classroom
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborative mindset for working alongside support staff, therapists, and families

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Deliver individualized instruction to K-4 students with special needs
  • Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and progress
  • Collaborate with onsite team members, therapists, and administration
