Qualifications:

  • Valid California Special Education Credential (Mild/Mod Authorization or higher required)
  • Experience supporting students across variable grade levels (K-12); Middle school experience a plus
  • SPED teaching experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual IEPs in a welcoming day school environment
  • Foster engagement and progress for diverse learners across elementary, middle, and high school grades
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive educational planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt and innovate curriculum, ensuring access and inclusion for all students
