Two full-time contract positions are available supporting students with mild to moderate needs—one serving grades 6–8 and the other serving grades 9–12. Each position will manage a caseload of approximately 25–30 students, fostering growth and developing individualized learning plans within a collaborative onsite setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teaching License
- Current Special Education (SPED) Endorsement
- Experience supporting students with mild to moderate needs, including behavior management strategies
- Willingness to assist with toileting needs when required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct instruction and support, both individually and in small groups, to facilitate academic and social-emotional growth
- Track progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers to coordinate support
- Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
- Participate in professional development and trainings as needed
