Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) License
  • PreK Endorsement required
  • Experience in early childhood special education preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction to a small group of PreK students (approximately 8–10)
  • Provide both push-in and pull-out services in a resource environment
  • Write, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with general education staff, families, and support professionals
  • Accurately document student progress and maintain state and district compliance
