In this role, you’ll work closely with students aged 3 to 22, each with an active Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Student needs include emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and other challenges. Your expertise will help students reach their goals and achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, specialized instruction tailored to IEP goals
- Implement intensive academic and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with related service providers and support staff for holistic student support
- Track student progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation
- Create an inclusive, structured classroom that promotes engagement and growth
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (LBS1 required)
- Experience working with students with emotional and learning disabilities
- Proven ability to deliver individualized instructional and behavioral support
- Strong classroom management and effective behavior intervention skills
