Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education certification
• Experience teaching students in grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and personalized learning approaches
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability in diverse classroom settings
• Passion for fostering student growth and resilience

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective, differentiated lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students’ educational goals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom atmosphere where every learner can thrive
