Special Education Teacher - Parma, MI

• Experience in resource classroom settings preferred

Role Overview:

• Start as soon as possible, with the contract extending tentatively through June 2027
• Full-time schedule (35 hours/week)
• Serve either elementary (caseload of 10 students) or middle school students (caseload of 11 students), based on your preference
• Schedule:
  • East Leroy Elementary: 7:55 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
  • Athens High School: 7:35 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with staff to support each student's success and personal growth
• Modify instructional materials and adapt lessons to diverse learning needs
• Monitor progress, conduct assessments, and provide meaningful feedback
