Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education certification required
- ESL endorsement highly preferred
- Experience working with middle school students (grades 6-8)
- Knowledge of inclusion and push-in instructional models
- Ability to provide both individual and small group academic support
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Support middle school students in academic subjects through inclusion (push-in) model
- Provide targeted pull-out assistance for academic intervention and support for multilingual learners (MLLs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify instruction and develop accommodations
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
