Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification is required
• Previous high school experience is preferred, but all enthusiastic and qualified candidates will be considered
• Strong collaboration skills for working with general education teachers in inclusive classroom settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class instructional support across five classrooms, with up to 10 students per class
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify lessons and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and assess student progress, documenting growth and identifying additional areas of need
• Employ a range of strategies and interventions to address various learning challenges
• Cultivate an encouraging and structured classroom environment that values each learner
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development as needed
