Position Details:

• First opening supports a caseload of 17 students, grades K–7th.
• Second opening involves teaching 16 students, grades 4th–7th.
• Both positions are full-time and require working closely with school teams to carry out individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Previous experience teaching students with diverse learning or behavioral needs is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring.
• Passion for collaboration with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusive practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
• Deliver engaging instruction across varied academic levels and emotional needs.
• Collaborate regularly with staff, therapists, and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate records, including progress notes and assessments.
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional learning, and other school functions.
