Current Openings:

• Position 1: Guide a diverse group of K-7th grade learners, managing a caseload of 17 students.
• Position 2: Empower 4th-7th grade students, focusing on a caseload of 16 individuals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students, preferably in a resource or self-contained classroom.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive learning atmosphere.
• Adaptability and creativity in modifying curriculum based on student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to student IEPs in either K-7th or 4th-7th grades.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Engage with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and resources.
• Implement behavior management techniques to support student growth.
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and district requirements.
