Position Overview
Patterson Joint USD is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher with experience in Mild/Moderate disabilities and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity involves supporting an elementary school caseload and collaborating with staff, families, and service providers to help students achieve academic and developmental goals.
Caseload
1 Elementary Mild/Moderate classroom/caseload
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student needs and goals
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Requirements
Active California Special Education Teaching Credential required
Experience working with Mild/Moderate populations and/or ECSE preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Important Submission Requirement
Candidates must hold active California credentials

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
