Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Valid special education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in 2nd or 3rd grade
- Skilled in delivering instruction through both push-in and pull-out models
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers, families, and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction within both general education classrooms and pull-out settings, adapting to students’ unique learning needs
- Develop, track, and update IEP goals through consistent documentation and progress reporting
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success
- Collaborate effectively with staff and families to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for each student
