Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP development and implementation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized and small group instruction for students with disabilities
• Develop, review, and maintain IEPs, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Employ evidence-based strategies, accommodations, and modifications to support student growth
• Track and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Partner with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers
• Create a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom atmosphere
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current on best practices
