Special Education Teacher

Travel or Local Special Education Teacher 

We are seeking Travel or Local Special Education Teachers for a K-8 school-based opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year. These are W-2 positions offering estimated weekly pay, full benefits, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off.

We work closely with educators to match them with placements that fit their preferences, including:

- K-8 grade levels
- Classroom and caseload preferences
- Supportive school environments

Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers, monitoring student progress, participating in IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
- Active state Special Education Teaching Certification or ability to obtain
- School-based experience preferred
- IEP experience preferred
- Ability to work onsite

Assignment Details:

- Start: July-May + Renewal

- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 40 hours per week, with occasional evening or Friday school events

- Setting: K-8

Caseload: Approximately 20-28 students
