Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with K-3 grade levels preferred
• Strong background in differentiated instruction and IEP implementation
• Patience, adaptability, and stellar communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and administration

Role Details & Responsibilities:

• Manage a self-contained classroom of seven students, tailoring lessons to a range of learning needs
• Provide targeted pull-out services for two additional students, focusing on individualized support plans
• Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Employ evidence-based strategies to reinforce positive student behaviors and encourage academic development
• Foster a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Engage in regular communication with colleagues and families to monitor progress and adjust strategies
• Keep accurate records of student growth and provide ongoing assessment
