Make a difference in the lives of young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in a supportive contract role near Peoria, AZ. You'll play a pivotal part in nurturing Pre-K students with diverse needs, guiding them through morning and afternoon sessions. With manageable class sizes (10–12 students per session, up to 24 students total on your caseload), you’ll have the resources and support to provide personalized learning experiences.
What you'll bring:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
- Experience working with early childhood or Pre-K populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of cross-categorical instructional strategies
- Skill in developing and implementing IEPs
- Effective communication and collaborative skills for partnering with instructional assistants and colleagues

In this rewarding position, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for morning and afternoon Pre-K classes
- Collaborate with and supervise two instructional assistants during student sessions to maximize student success
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring students’ individual needs are met with accuracy and care
- Manage a caseload of approximately 24 students, promoting progress and supporting developmental milestones
- Maintain clear and ongoing communication with families and related service providers
- Fulfill staff responsibilities on a five-day work schedule while students attend school four days a week
