Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state-appropriate)
• Previous classroom experience preferred, ideally in a resource or special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working alongside staff and families
• Ability to tailor lessons and supports to diverse learning styles and needs
• Proven capacity to create positive, inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students in resource and/or PHASE settings compliant with IEP requirements
• Assess student abilities and modify curriculum as needed to maximize progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student achievement
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data tracking
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development sessions
