Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience supporting K-12 students with diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and individualized instruction
• Strong collaborative skills with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Adaptability to work across structured, resource, and self-contained classroom settings

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver tailored instruction to students in one or more of the following: Connections (grades 5–6), structured elementary, resource ELA for middle school, general middle school resource, self-contained high school, or Pathways
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
• Monitor student progress and communicate results with families and team members
