Three new positions are now available for skilled Special Education Teachers who thrive in collaborative settings and are passionate about delivering personalized instruction.
Position 1 brings the chance to work with K-8th grade students (including possibly one 9th grader), focusing on reading and math intervention. With approximately 15 hours per week dedicated to direct services, plus additional planning time, you’ll have the ability to shape young learners’ educational journeys. The final schedule will be confirmed soon to best fit the needs of both students and educators.
Position 2 offers a rewarding opportunity to support a small caseload of eight K-4 students with various learning needs such as SLD and developmental delays. Working closely with students—some of whom also receive SLP services—you’ll be immersed in a supportive, tight-knit elementary setting with just 40 students, ensuring meaningful connections and individualized strategies.
Position 3 enables you to provide specialized instruction for 7 to 8 students in grades 1-4. Experience a unique work environment where four dedicated paraprofessionals support academic growth, fostering impactful instructional time. While you’ll encounter a range of student needs, the absence of extreme behaviors ensures a focus on learning and positive development.
Desired experience and qualities:
- State certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher
- Prior experience teaching students with diverse learning needs preferred
