Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching credential/certification in Special Education
  • Experience delivering individualized instruction in reading and math
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads (K–8th grade) and adapt to varying student needs
  • Knowledge of and experience supporting students with SLD, developmental delays, and those receiving speech services
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized academic instruction in reading and math
  • Design and implement IEP goals for K–9th grade students
  • Coordinate with paraprofessionals and support staff for direct academic services
  • Effectively document and track student progress
  • Work flexibly within a small school or multi-grade environment
