Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (master’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Demonstrated adaptability and creativity when approaching diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with assistive technology and evidence-based instructional strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Assess students’ strengths and areas for growth to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance requirements
• Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development
