Several caseloads are available based on your expertise and preference:

• Learning Support for Grades 1st & 2nd: Work with small groups (up to 12 students) in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
• Learning Support for Grades 2nd & 3rd: Support a group of 12 students as they develop core academic skills.
• Kindergarten Inclusion: Foster a collaborative classroom environment, promoting inclusion and early success.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching license
• Experience in an elementary or early childhood setting, preferably with small group instruction
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for nurturing individual academic and social growth
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet various learning needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction to small groups
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitoring progress and documenting growth
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and planning sessions
• Create an engaging, supportive learning environment that sparks curiosity

Teachers start August 19th, with students returning to school September 2nd. The regular hours are 8:00am to 3:45pm, allowing for a consistent schedule and time to connect with your students and colleagues.
