Special Education Teacher in Philadelphia, PA

A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available within Delaware County Intermediate Unit 25, based in Broomall, PA. This contract position involves providing dedicated support in early childhood special education with a manageable caseload across two classroom settings.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored special education instruction to young learners in early childhood programs.
• Collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Maintaining detailed records and communication with families and staff.
• Supporting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid special education teaching certification.
• Experience working with early childhood populations in special education settings.
