Special Education Teacher - Philadelphia, PA

Multiple full-time contract roles are available for the 2026-2027 school year, including positions at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. As a dedicated educator, you will have the opportunity to create and implement engaging, differentiated lessons that shape young minds and meet diverse needs.

Available openings include:

• 1 elementary school position (8:30AM-4PM)
• 1 middle school position (hours TBD: 8:30AM-4PM or 8AM-3:15PM)
• 2 high school positions (7:15AM-2:45PM) All positions are onsite and require a 35-hour work week. The contract spans from August 24, 2026 to June 10, 2027.

What we’re looking for:

• Active special education certification or licensure relevant to caseload
• Bachelor’s degree; ability to receive an emergency teaching permit if applicable
• Demonstrated classroom and behavioral management experience, especially in urban settings
• Proven ability to develop standards-aligned lesson plans and use formative assessments effectively
• Prior experience working within school environments
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances before start date
• Strong comfort level working with diverse student populations and adapting to district-specific expectations
• Reliable transportation; ability to commit fully to the assigned work schedule (no schedule accommodations will be made)
