Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania teaching certification or licensure required for your assigned caseload
- Bachelor’s degree required to qualify for an emergency teaching permit
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting, ideally within urban environments
- Mastery of special education subject matter, instructional methods, and resource materials
- Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
- Skilled in designing lessons aligned with state and district standards, incorporating differentiation and formative assessments
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the school location
- Must be able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Comfortable working within district expectations and committed to the school’s mission
Primary Responsibilities:
