The school day runs from 8:30AM to 4PM, totaling 35 hours per week, and the contract extends through June 10, 2027. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (eligibility for emergency teaching permit)
• Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure for Special Education
• Proven school-based experience
• Expertise in lesson planning, differentiation, and formative assessment, with strong instructional skills
• Outstanding classroom and behavioral management abilities
• Capable of fulfilling all Pennsylvania state clearance requirements
• Reliable transportation for commute
• Comfortable working in an urban school environment and able to adapt to district policies and procedures
• Willingness and availability to work the designated onsite hours (no schedule accommodations)

What You'll Do:

• Plan, implement, and adjust instructional strategies based on state and district standards
• Provide targeted support to students, utilizing assessment data to drive instruction
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
