What you bring to the table:

  • Current Special Education certification (SPED) in Pennsylvania
  • Experience with elementary-age children, especially in special education or autism support settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for inclusive education practices

  • Ability to develop, implement, and track IEP goals

Key responsibilities:

  • Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment for students with autism in grades 2-4
  • Create and deliver lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Employ evidence-based strategies to encourage student growth and independence
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other school activities
