Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide instruction and support for a self-contained Emotional Support classroom serving 4th and 5th grade students. • Training Begins: August 17, 2026
• Student Start Date: August 24, 2026
• End Date: June 12, 2027
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Daily Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Caseload: Approximately 12 students
• Grade Levels: 4th & 5th Grade
• Student Ages: 9–11 years
• Setting: Self-Contained Emotional Support Classroom

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals.
• Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies.
• Create a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License required.
• Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral needs preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
