Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification to teach Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in language arts, math, and behavioral areas
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for connecting with both families and fellow educators
• Collaborative mindset for working within general education and resource team models
• Adaptable and passionate about fostering student achievement

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support in language arts, math, and behavior in both small group and inclusion settings
• Design and carry out IEPs to address individual student needs, tracking progress toward goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive, supportive learning environments
• Maintain ongoing communication with students’ families about progress and needs
• Work alongside a team of resource teachers for support and guidance
