Special Education Teacher in Phoenix, AZ

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, serving middle school students in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on supporting students with Autism, requiring a strong foundation in special education strategies tailored to their unique learning needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with Autism
• Providing targeted instruction and behavioral support within a middle school setting
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and development
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and social skills

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience working with students with Autism spectrum disorder
• Background in special education at the middle school level
• Relevant teaching licensure and certifications
• Ability to engage and motivate students through creative and adaptive teaching strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

This contract position offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, with guaranteed weekly hours and consistent weekly paychecks every Friday.
