Special Ed Teacher - Phoenix, Arizona

A school in Phoenix, AZ is seeking full-time Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. These contract positions are ideal for educators committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs in an elementary school setting. There are three openings available:

• Position 1: STC K-2 Special Education Teacher (self-contained)
• Position 2: Preschool Special Education Teacher
• Position 3: 7-8th Grade Resource Teacher

This opportunity requires candidates to hold a valid standard special education teaching license, as alternative licenses will not be accepted. The roles involve working closely with students who have individualized education programs (IEPs) to provide tailored instruction and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support in self-contained and resource settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations

Qualifications:
