Math Special Education Teacher in Phoenix, AZ

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License.
• Arizona Special Education Licensure required.
• IVP Fingerprint Card must be current and in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Math within a special education classroom.
• Familiarity working collaboratively, preferably in a co-teaching model.
• Ability to create adaptable lesson plans and work within a multi-disciplinary team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaboratively plan and deliver Math instruction tailored to diverse learners.
• Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs through differentiated strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with colleagues, support staff, and families.
• Track student progress, documenting data for IEPs and school records.
• Contribute to a positive classroom culture while upholding school and district standards.
